Fair Trade Fortnight

It's that time of year where all us fair trade folk gather to tell you about why you should buy fair trade!

but why should you?

To be honest, there are a number of reasons, but the two things that convinced me is are:

1. I love shopping, i am a genuine believer that retail is a therapy, but it feels even better to know that my adiiction to shopping is actually helping someone. So when I take that new handbag home that I couldn't possibly live without, I know that it's actually helped go towards making a person's life move forward for the better. (How's that for justification?!!)

2. It's not that expensive. If you take a trip down the high street, and look in the clothes shops, and then look at what fair trade companies are charging, the difference is marginal, usually less. So that keeps me and my purse happy!

So give it a try! :-)
